Paris in Pictures

Paris is one of the most visited and photographed cities in the world. As a result of this, I thought long and hard about how to blog about my visit. Then it occurred to me!

A ton of pictures were taken during my visit to Paris and I would love to share them with you. I will definitely visit Paris again because it is such a beautiful city. It has a steady pace whichΒ has something in store for everyone.

Jardin des Plantes (Garden of Plants)

Notre Dame Cathedral

Entrance of Notre Dame Cathedral

Inside Notre Dame Cathedral

After a whole day of walking, Arc De Triomphe seemed so far. So I took a picture instead.

Rent a Ferrari to drive around Paris. Anyone?

Grande Roue de Paris, built in 1900.

Paris has alot of golden structures such as this beautiful gate.

Padlock bridge by Notre Dame Cathedral.

I opted for this ride from Notre Dame to Louvre because I thought it was so cool. Louvre was sadly not open on that day.

Seine River sightseeing cruise. This cruise is a hop on, hop off cruise that goes through all the major tourist attractions in Paris. I purchased tickets at the bank of the Seine River for under 20 euros.

Beautiful gold structure on a bridgeΒ (Captured from Seine River cruise).

National Assembly Building (Captured from Seine River cruise).

Seine River.

Streets of Paris.

More beautiful gold structures in Paris.

Statue of Napoleon on a tall pillar.

Eiffel Tower in the evening.

Will you visit Paris soon?

Paris is one of my favourite cities, so much to see (and photograph!) I just love wandering around with my camera. I think I shall also take a tuk tuk next time – looks like fun!

Super cool pictures! Paris is indeed a beautiful city.

Paris is my favorite city and I have been so blessed to have visited many, many times! You’ve captured some great spots here and it makes me want to go back asap. What did you think of the food?

The food wasn’t bad but it’s best to avoid food in tourist areas! I got sucked into the tourist trap

February 25, 2017 at 12:08 am

Beautiful photos! How long were you there? I have yet to visit Paris.

Thank you. I was there for 3 days and i need to go back asap!

Paris looks very romantic — and stylish! I wish I could have gone and visit while I was in the UK. I wish one day there’ll be no more visa applications needed for us to travel the world.. but of course I am just dreaming. lol. lovely photos you have here!!

Wow! this makes me want to go back! my sister lives in Switzerland and Paris is only a 2 hr drive away from their place. I loved this city. You captured it beautifully. Also, I heard they were taking down the padlock bridges because they’re getting too heavy! I hope this isn’t true because I totally have a padlock on there somewhere!

So sorry to disappoint you but they actually take down the padlocks every 6 months because they get too heavy πŸ™ They come in with huge cutters and just cut them all down… So if it was more than 6 months ago that you put your padlock, it is definitely gone ! Also, 2 years ago or something like that, one panel on the Pont des Arts was so heavy it fell into the Seine… luckily, nobody got hurt !

I studied and worked in Paris for a few years… and I still get amazed how beautiful it is, every time I see pictures of it ! πŸ™‚

I’ll be honest here, your photos are great but when I visited Paris, it got me so disappointed that I wouldn’t like to go back there… Gray concrete streets and apartment blocks that resemble Soviet era, overprices cafes where you have to stay on the pavements looking at passing cars… It’s hard to imagine for me why it is so popular, and where other people see romance… Compare the colorful wooden balconies of Tbilisi overlooking the majestic fortress illuminated at night and you’ll now what romance is πŸ™‚

Yes i have to agree on the overpriced cafes. I didn’t take pictures of food because it was sp expensive and i was upset at paying so much. I absolutely have to visit Tbilisi. Paris was the first European city I visited so I am kinda attached to it. I think everyone has different opinions about it but I liked Paris alot.

I just came back from Paris and I’ll be honest I didn’t really love it! However, the Notre Dame is an insanely beautiful Cathedral so it’s nice to be reminded of that through your pictures. Unfortunately the love lock bridge had been dismantled when we visited!

Aw I think alot of people have mixed feelings about Paris. I loved it alot and it was also the first European city I visited so I am attached to it in a way

Thanks for taking me there again! Paris is one city whose pictures I will never tire of seeing.
I think this hols good for many.

I absolutely adore Paris! I try to go there every now and then… and try to visit the remote areas of the city, a bit away from the main tourist attractions… πŸ™‚

Paris is so beautiful! I haven’t visited yet (or anywhere in France for that matter!) but the more photos I see and experiences I read about, the more drawn I am to visit! It’s a shame the Louvre was closed for you, but seeing it from the outside isn’t too bad I guess.

Your photos really are beautiful! Paris is such a gorgeous city. I’ve been several times, but I’ve never been to the Jardin des Plantes. Next time!

Pictures that capture the essence of Paris so well. I loved the picture of Padlock bridge. One of my favorite. And yes the Eiffel tower looks great too!

Beautiful pictures indeed. I loved capturing the sights in Paris, especially those along the River Seine. Things are so culturally vibrant along this line.

Nice pictures about all the architectures, rivers, and attractions in Paris. I wish to drive around Paris with Ferrari that would be so cool, but not sure if I can afford it. It looks you had been to lots of places in Paris during your trip and I would definitely give the Arc De Triomphe a go!

I didn’t know there was a Pantheon in Paris, but I am happy that I learned it from your blog. The only Pantheon that I ever saw was in Rome, and it looks a bit similar to this one, from outside.
